Protesters, including an elderly woman, hurled balloons full of paint and shouted slogans as hundreds gathered outside the Popular Party (PP) headquarters in Valladolid, Monday. The protesters were demonstrating in solidarity with the people injured in Sunday's clashes with police in San Lorenzo.
Protesters held signs such as 'no to repression' and 'be strong, Encarni', referring to a woman injured during the Sunday protest at which three people were arrested, when violence broke out during a confrontation between around 70 demonstrators and police guarding Popular Party supporters.
